Permissions
The Permissions page provides a read-only audit log of all actions taken across your TMRW Labs account. It is intended for accountability and compliance purposes, enabling administrators to trace which team members performed specific actions and when. Role assignment and access control configuration are managed separately through User Management.
Logged Information
Each entry in the activity log captures the following details:
- Venue Name — The location associated with the action that was performed
- Resource — The specific entity or record that was acted upon (e.g., a captive portal, router, or user)
- Action — The nature of the change made (e.g., created, updated, deleted, published)
- Last Update — The date and time at which the action was recorded
Reviewing Activity
To access and navigate the audit log:
- Navigate to Team & Access > Permissions in the main sidebar.
- Use the available filters to narrow the log by resource type or action category.
- Use the search field to locate entries associated with a specific venue, resource, or user.
- Sort the log by Last Update to surface the most recent activity at the top of the list.
Role-Based Access Control
Access to dashboard features is governed by a role-based access control (RBAC) model. Each team member is assigned a role at the time they are invited to the platform via User Management. That role determines which sections of the dashboard the user may view and interact with.
The Permissions page does not provide controls for modifying user roles or access levels. It serves exclusively as an immutable record of account activity, ensuring full traceability of changes made by all team members.
